Community Resources for Douglas County Facebook Group Grows
Local nonprofits unite to streamline aid through a Facebook group named Community Resources for Douglas County. AmeriCorps member Jenna Groth started it last month with shelter staff and nonprofit workers to share holiday hours, resources, and questions, enabling near instant communication and efficient donation routing. Members include United Way Penn House 100 Good Women and ECKAN, with the group now public since December 10, allowing community members to find resources independently.
