Seoul mall owner given lengthy prison term for collapse
The owner of a ritzy Seoul mall that collapsed in June killing 95 and injuring 900 was sentenced to 10 1/2 years for negligence. Joon, 73, was found at fault for the June 30 Sampoong Department Store collapse with 1,500 inside. His son and mall president Lee Han-sang, 43, received seven years for negligence and bribing government officials.
