Anne Marie Carr 54 of Lawrence died December 22 2009 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born November 26 1955 in Rock Island Illinois, daughter of Edward and Joyce Washburn Carr. She graduated Raytown South High School in 1972 and worked seven years as finance manager at Community Mercantile. She volunteered at Pelathe Center through Americorps and attended Unity Church. She owned Calculating Lady bookkeeping for Lawrence businesses including Ran Arts and MSM and was active in genealogy and local politics. She married Micheal Zinn, later divorced, and then Tracy Hornbeck, later divorced. Survivors include her three Carr children Jason Hornbeck and wife Rhonda of Manhattan, Anna Celsea Giles and husband Jeremy of Clathe, Caitlin Hornbeck of Lawrence. a brother Steve Carr of Arlington Texas. two sisters Kathey Carr of Rockaway Beach Oregon and Jenny Jones of Nevada Massachusetts. her mother of Nevada Missouri. and three grandchildren Aaron Uhling Ariana Hornbeck and Leandra Joy Nathan. Friends may call Sunday noon to 8 p.m. at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home with family present 5 to 6 p.m. The family requests memorials to Van Go Mobile Arts.
