Forfeiture ordered in tax firm funds probe near Topeka
A federal court ordered the forfeiture of almost 8.95 million seized from Renaissance The Tax People, tied to 13 accounts including banks investments life insurance and a safe deposit box. Judge Monti Belot found probable cause the money derived from mail fraud and money laundering amid a $100 million alleged scheme. Kansas officials also sue the company over a pyramid scheme and a February hearing is set on a temporary injunction.

Brown hip replacement parallels Krzyzewski
