A Boeing 707 of British Overseas Airways Corp. carrying 107 aboard from Chicago via Detroit Montreal and Prestwick spun off a London Airport runway into muddy grass. All 95 passengers and 12 crew escaped unhurt as the wing collapsed and undercarriage tore away. Passengers exited via port side emergency chutes while fire crews foamed the wreckage.
