Fairgrounds Phase 1 plans include meeting hall site
Plinsky said funds are set aside for Phase 1 at the fairgrounds surrounding Buildings 1 and 2 in the southwest area. Demolition, grading, utilities, and new parking are planned with future work including an Open Pavilion, arena, restrooms, and outdoor event space. Construction bids and documents should be ready in months as the total project budget is reviewed for funding.
