Wichita Carthalite gains national notice from preservation feature
Wichita's Carthalite decorative cement on the Minisa Bridge draws national attention after a 10 page American Bungalow spread. The color work, dating 1927 to 1940, includes patterns around the Dockum Building and the Kansas Aviation Museum, with ongoing restoration tied to a bridge reconstruction that preserves the historic heads and bas relief figures.
