Therapy dogs Budge and Boe join Army combat stress units
Dogs Budge and Boe, black Labrador retrievers, are officially enlisted as the Army’s first therapy dogs for soldiers in combat. Stationed with Tikrit and Mosul units, they’ll aid stress relief and help reduce stigma around mental health, after training at the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown, New York.
