Santa Fe reports six men with heavy suitcases, arriving from Las Vegas in two cars, are jailed pending investigation. Federal bank-conspiracy ties cited. guards and penitentiary officials scrutinize a break during surveillance. A restaurant taken into custody followed a vehicle stop, with a Colorado license plate 43356 noted, and car damage examined.
Richard Salmon of Oghdonoua Kansas died in a wreck at the railroad yards when two freight engines collided after a signal misunderstanding.
