City commissioners approve rebidding parts of the Farmland cleanup contract to reduce costs. They remove 180000 dollars of asbestos removal work, consider inspections to refine bids, and expect potential savings of 80000 to 100000 dollars. The project, tied to an 8.6 million remediation fund and a state agreement, aims to convert the site into a business and industrial park.
