Trade commission urged to curb unfair practices in Kansas

Topeka Kans Dec 2 A Kansas Retail Grocers Association plan seeks a state trade commission in the next legislature to curb false advertising and unfair trade practices The group will open permanent headquarters around Jan 1 It proposes boards to hear trade abuse cases and favors a weight requirement for fruits and vegetables to promote honest merchandising The Evangelical Sunday school Christmas program is set for Sunday at 7 50 pm and a White Gift Cantata The United Brethren church ten day meetings closed with strong praise and additions to the church William Docking was en route to Kansas City
