Appeal Notice Filed Over Heroin Sell Conviction
Richard P. Cahill filed a Wednesday appeal in Douglas County District Court after a jury sentenced him to one to ten years for illegal heroin sales. Judge Frank Gray set a $2,500 appeal bond. The case goes to the Kansas Supreme Court. Cahill was arrested in a June 29 drug raid and gave 3045 N.W. Ninth as his address. He was convicted October 3.
