Santa’s Beard Complicates English Parachute Jump
In Chipping Norton a Royal Signal Corps parachutist landed off target after Santa Claus beard fluttered across his face. Cpl George Shone said the beard forced him to land blind, describing the jump as tricky. Nearby Leicester hosts St Luke’s Wine Circle for 50 pensioners with 200 pints of beer and 72 bottles of wine.
