New home construction slips but rebound expected
November housing data show a 5.4 percent drop in overall construction with regional variances, while single family home gains offset declines in multifamily activity. Builders started at a 1.03 million rate as permits fell 5.2 percent. economists anticipate a rebound in 2015 supported by job growth and easing lending standards.
