Graveside services for Leroy Howard Snuffy Hatch 83 of Oskaloosa will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakhill Cemetery in Lawrence. Hatch died Saturday December 15 2007 at Colmery ONeil VA Hospital in Topeka. He was born September 24 1924 in Winchester son of Leonard and Alice Hatch. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a construction laborer and handyman. He married Gertie Heston December 4 1953 in Kansas City. They later divorced she survives. He leaves four sons Ernest and Dean both of Lawrence Glenn New York and Robert Colorado. four daughters Ruby Schmitz Alma Elaine Hatch Lawrence and Deloris Hatch and Patricia Hatch Ottawa. a brother Clarence Lawrence. 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
