Wet Snow Here Is Aid to Winter Wheat Crop
A wet snow last night and today brought moisture to the region and renewed hope for a good wheat crop. By noon the snowfall total reached 11/2 inches, yielding about 18 inch of moisture. It was the first appreciable moisture since a soaking rain in early December. Roads were muddy but fields received a good soaking and crop benefits were expected.
