Infant injured in head-on wreck near Jefferson County
A 2 month old girl, properly restrained, was injured when a Subaru Legacy driven westbound crossed the center line on U S Highway 24 two miles east of the U S 24 and U S 59 junction. The infant and a 20 year old woman were taken to a Topeka hospital. both residents of Perry. The other driver and the infant’s car occupant were uninjured. Further details on injuries were not immediately available.
