Opt out bracelets offered for PolyHeme trial in Kansas area
KU Hospital and University of Kansas Medical Center will send about 75 opt out bracelets to Wyandotte Leavenworth and Douglas counties residents. The PolyHeme trial seeks up to 40 patients over about a year, beginning this month, with emergency consent under federal rules. Wristbands prevent PolyHeme. bracelets available free via KU sites or coordinator Suzanne Porras at 913 588 3005.
