Sebelius gala to feature Lawrence musicians
The Kansas inaugural events in Topeka will include a state dinner and gala dance featuring The Flippers, a KU student band from the late 1960s and early 1970s. The gala, on Jan. 13, caps the daylong festivities for Gov.-elect Sebelius and Lt. Gov.-elect John Moore, with regional celebrations slated for Jan. 10-12. All events are free except the $65 gala.
