Ray Culbertson 84 of Lawrence died Sunday December 12 2010 at Brandon Woods in Alvamar Funeral service 130 pm Wednesday at Warren McElwain Mortuary Private burial McLouth Cemetery He was born July 28 1926 in Billings Montana raised in Provo Utah and Topeka He served in the US Navy during WWII He married Frieda Jane Wray in August 1948 and they shared 63 years of marriage He worked at Capitol Federal Savings rising to senior vice president in the Kansas City area Survivors include his wife a daughter Susan Pitcher two sons Ron and Jerry four grandchildren three stepgrandchildren four great grandchildren seven step greatgrandchildren and other relatives Memorials suggested to Grace Hospice.
