Two Students Arrested After Downtown Bar Scuffle
Lawrence police arrested two students after a melee outside The Granada night club as it closed just before 2 a.m. Walter Reuben Davis, 24, Ottawa, faced multiple charges including disorderly conduct and battery on an officer. Eric Chischilly, 23, Window Rock, Ariz., a Haskell Indian Nations University student, was charged with interference, disorderly conduct and obstruction of the legal process. Officer Kirk Fultz was struck and treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
