Morrison urged to resign amid sexual harassment allegations
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius said Morrison should step down if allegations prove true, citing conduct as an attorney and as an employer. The Topeka Capital Journal reported a Carter complaint to the EEOC and a signed statement. Morrison denies using the relationship to influence Kline’s case and says he had a consensual affair. The Kansas GOP demanded a full public response or resignation, while Sebelius called the situation a setback for Kansans and for a high-profile statewide official.
