Gene O'Brien of Parsons Kansas has been upgraded to good condition at St. John's Hospital in Springfield Missouri and is undergoing rehabilitation after suffering head and back injuries in a 12 foot fall while visiting Branson on November 11.

California man arrested on train in Hays area
Stephen M. Owen, 41, of Roseville California, was arrested inside a Union Pacific locomotive cab near Hays after railroad personnel alerted police. He allegedly threatened the U S president. A Secret Service agent interviewed him in Ellis County Jail where he remains held.
