Charles W Yank Stewart, 52, identified as ringleader of Ivy Bluff Prison escape, was captured in Martinsville after a car crash near the Smith River bridge. Six escapees remain at large, with two possibly in the Lynchburg Roanoke area. eight others were arrested in Virginia Ohio or near the prison.

Jonathan Adrian, 36, of Wichita, arrested at the Clutter farm where four Her bert W. Clutter family members were slain, said he visited out of curiosity. He held a .32 pistol in a holster and had a shotgun and hunting knife in his car. Authorities note he was once committed to Topeka State Hospital in 1957 and released the same year with a plan for further mental treatment.

German Yuletide Event at KU Wednesday
