Twenty five to thirty Black people are said dead with fifteen burned in a lodge room when whites attacked. Several whites and many Black people were injured as crowds confronted lodge rooms near Reform and Gordo.
Otway Saldeir, a minor figure in the West Kind Frauel of the California Safe Deposit and Trust company, allegedly committed suicide last night by shooting himself in the head with a sawed-off shotgun. Mendet J. Dale, Brow, president of the California Safe Deposit and Trust, is in prison charged with elements of the case.
