Keith Wood, a 25 year veteran Boy Scout leader, becomes executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County. He aims to cut the 60 child waiting list and raise the agency profile while overseeing about 500 mentored youths annually. The Gingerbread House Auction at The Eldridge Extended, 7 p.m. Wednesday, funds the group as public tickets cost 35 dollars.
