Jailed Middletown teachers set example in civil disobedience
History teacher Barbara Guenther and 227 other teachers in Middletown Township have been jailed for defying a back to work order. The mass imprisonment marks the biggest such action since 1978 and targets health care premium hikes while the district, over 10,000 students, remains out of class.
