Lawrence man arrested on felony drug charges in Douglas County
A 25 year old Lawrence man Jacob Gillihan was arrested at his Atchison Way residence on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance felony possession of drug paraphernalia and felony cultivation or distribution tied to January 10 or February 14. He faced additional counts including sale or purchase of drugs via a communication device misdemeanor drug paraphernalia and weapons charges with a $10 000 bond posted after booking. A civil asset forfeiture notice said the Lawrence Douglas County Drug Enforcement Unit seized about 17023 and over 721 grams of marijuana from Gillihan.
