MySpace to build database to block sex offenders
MySpace will partner with Sentinel Tech to develop Sentinel Safe, a monthly updated database of convicted sex offenders in the United States. An automated system will match names, descriptions, and other data against user profiles, leading to deletion of matched pages, with aims to curb teen exposure on social networks.
