Lawrence leaders approved a $2 million Eagle Bend irrigation project to supply raw water directly from Clinton Lake for the Eagle Bend Golf Course Youth Sports Complex Clinton Lake Softball Complex and Rotary Arboretum. Douglas County Judge Amy Hanley is among 15 members of Kansas Supreme Court created Ad Hoc Criminal Pretrial Practices and Procedures Advisory Committee. Berry Amcor plans an all stock merger valued at about 8.4 billion dollars, creating a combined company led by Amcor CEO Peter Konieczny with 63 percent ownership for Amcor shareholders.
