Auto Repair Fleecing Warns Senate Hearing
Senate Antitrust subcommittee heard critics say auto repairs expose consumers to fleecing. Hofstra economist William N. He argued franchised dealers face franchise terminations for sales quota failures, not for substandard service, and urged laws to curb terminations and help dealers expand service facilities.
