Lawrence Woman's Club Highlights Kansas Art Progress
The Lawrence Woman's Club meeting featured a program by the Lawrence Art Club led by Mrs. E. M. Owen. Mrs. George L. Newlin traced art education in Kansas from 1858 at Baker University to the KU department built by W. A. Griffith. Paintings by Kansas artists were shown, with a Christmas poem and musical numbers by students.
