Members of the Albert Walter Hunting Club held their annual hunt yesterday at Fred Walter’s farm about fifteen miles northwest of Lawrence. About twenty five men traveled from the Elks club breakfast at 8:30 before heading to the farm to hunt rabbits and quail. Roughly 150 rabbits were secured though quail were scarce, with lunch taken at the Walter farm and hunting continuing into the afternoon before returning at night. The club has been organized for about thirty years.
