Douglas County Public Works wants permission to start planning a rural bridge replacement on East 550 Road about 15 miles west of Baldwin City. The $630000 project will use CFS Engineers of Lawrence on an hourly contract not to exceed 40990. Commissioners meet at 4 p.m. Wednesdays at the Douglas County Courthouse.
