FDA rules require calorie counts on restaurant menus
The FDA announced long delayed calorie labeling rules requiring establishments with 20 or more locations to post calories on menus and displays. Compliance within a year. The rules cover chain restaurants bakeries and movie theaters and apply to some supermarket prepared foods. Alcohol labeling is included if listed on menus.
