Annual horse parade set for Saturday in downtown Lawrence
Connie Werner with Werner Wagon Works prepares wagons at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for Lawrence’s 19th Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade. The event starts 11 a.m. Saturday at Seventh and Massachusetts, with about 100 entrants including horse drawn carriages and rare black Clydesdales.
