Annual Holiday Art Fair shows broad array of local art

Lawrence residents packed the Arts Center for the annual Holiday Art Fair, organized by the Lawrence Art Guild. Patty Boyer, coordinator for the past decade, praised more than 70 participating artists across photography, jewelry, painting, quilting, and ceramics. Proceeds support the guild, with previous years raising about six to ten thousand dollars as shoppers browsed watercolors, prints, and handmade jewelry amid rainy parade weather.
