White House to offer more refugee data to governors
The White House told governors it will provide better reports on Syrian refugees resettled in their states without changing policy. Data will be total counts by nationality and other details only through a password protected site while pledging ongoing thorough security vetting for 2016 refugee intake. Governors wary of resettlement hope for more information, with some pressing for a moratorium. The National Governors Association called the move a good starting point.
