Psychosis Kulp linked to murder after long mental illness
Angelica Kulp, long known in Lawrence for severe schizophrenia and instability, is charged in the July homicide of Kenneth Kaplan in Topeka after earlier burglaries. Police say her decline worsened while she received social services, and associates describe her as a kind person battling delusions. Kaplan’s death follows a pattern of housing instability and repeated hospitalizations.
