Lawrence High product Mike Reese moved from free safety to strong safety for Emporia State. The senior, 5-11 and 166 pounds, was an All-MIAA pick last season after transferring from Coffeyville CC, led ESU defenders with 60 tackles, had five interceptions, and recovered a fumble for a TD. Season opener at Fort Hays State Saturday night.

Pembroke Hill's Rush to give up football
