Slayer Lincoln Sayre hunted after double murder in Buffalo

Searchers found the body of 47 year old Lincoln Sayre wanted for the killings of his sisters in Buffalo West Virginia. State troopers said Sayre had made a note planning to “go out of this world” and had fled after the slayings. Authorities also located Sayre’s estranged wife in Milton West Virginia as the investigation widened. Local sheriff said Sayre believed his sisters in law influenced his wife. The victims were Phice Johnson 45 a Buffalo teacher and Alice Martin 60 of Nitro.

Lawrence city actions cover waste truck purchase and parks plan

The Lawrence city commission authorized a 20 yard trash packer body purchase to replace a Sanitation Department flatbed, with Sanitary Disposal Service Inc. of Kansas City as the lowest bidder at 4047.50 dollars. Tour of Lawrence Highlights Local Teachers Orientation

A multi hour tour of Lawrence visited six firms and a Chamber of Commerce dinner for 180 teachers attending the annual Lawrence public schools orientation.
