Gas well at Eudora yields up to a million feet daily
A new gas well near Eudora, led by R. M. Ridgway of Lawrence, produced an estimated 750000 to 1000000 cubic feet per day from 352 feet depth. The well will be capped with further prospecting planned, possibly adding another rig as the field is developed with confidence amid land slopes and a stronger gas flow than earlier wells. The area sees demand for coal as winter nears and local merchants push fall stock and services.
