Joliet Correctional Center to be used in Derailed filming
The Joliet Correctional Center, closed since 2002 after 144 years, will host scenes for the thriller Derailed starring Clive Owen. Principal filming is set for this fall in Joliet, about 40 miles south of Chicago, with Owen likely present. Jennifer Aniston may not attend. Film officials see the vacant jail as a practical draw for future productions due to proximity to Chicago.
