In CHAMONIX, France a low flying jet allegedly cut the suspension cable of a mountain sky car system causing a cabin to plunge 200 yards into White Valley. Police reported six killed in the dropped cabin with three more fatalities from other cabins crashing into the mountainside. Lecompton Teen Dies in Farm Accident Near Stull
A 15 year old Lecompton boy Marvin Eugene Kahle was killed instantly this morning on the William Henry Jr. farm near Stull. He was helping remove a hay loader when a brace slipped and the loader fell on him. He died of a fractured skull and cerebral lacerations. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Big Springs E U B Church. He is survived by his parents four brothers and two sets of grandparents.
