Sanford Waxer 27 year old Army veteran denied an honorable discharge on grounds of Communist association. He called the charges unfounded and said he never belonged to any group. History Prof Alfred H Kelly of Wayne University Detroit testified he never was a member of the Communist party and abhorred Marxist doctrine. The Waxer cases and related suspensions were under Senate Civil Service subcommittee review in a probe of Eisenhower administration employee security. Mrs Waxer suspended as a government civilian worker for continued association with a Communist sympathizer said she has sought 18 months to clear her name without action.
