NASA delays Atlantis launch after lightning strike
NASA postponed the Atlantis launch for at least 24 hours to inspect potential damage from a massive lightning strike at Launch Pad 39B. Officials cited unusual instrument readings in the electrical buss and hydrogen vent arm as reasons for delaying the mission STS 115, which aims to deliver a 17 ton truss and new solar arrays for the space station.
