Caillaux Expects Tough Task in Baseball Here
Paris Aug 27 French finance minister Joseph Caillaux, back from London where he neared a debt agreement with Winston Churchill, warned reporters not to cheer and said his work in England is not finished. In Washington, officials noted the debt settlement affects Franco American talks, with the United States seeking payment in full of principal and interest. Treasury officials caution the US relation to debtors is complex, and negotiations on September 24 will consider France’s total obligations, while Latvia may soon fund its debt.

Most now are half breeds with largely forgotten customs and governance. Some have grown wealthy from jail royalties and radio parts.
