The Sierra Club cites a five year study by Spectrum Technologists saying Kansas regulators fail to curb odors and disease risk from wastewater spraying and that lagoon seepage poses similar risks to the Equus Beds aquifer and western Kansas groundwater. The study funded about 12500 dollars in expenses and was used ahead of hog regulation hearings in Dodge City and Wichita with Seaboard Farms mentioned.
