Perry memorial services for Roger Hodson 91 will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Perry United Methodist Church with burial and military honors at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Hodson, a World War II veteran and longtime Perry resident, died Friday Aug 22 2008. He was born May 26 1917 in Hallowell and served at KU and in the Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1969. He was a lawyer farmer and longtime city clerk of Perry. Survived by wife Margaret and children Chuck Sherry Peggy Janet. five grandchildren. Visitation 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials to the church or American Parkinson Disease Association.
