Amendment to Kansas constitution on legislative pay
Substitute for Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 5 proposes amending the Kansas constitution to set legislative compensation at five hundred dollars per regular session, one hundred dollars per special session, and three cents per mile traveled. Bonds Sale and Tax Ordinances for Lawrence City
Sealed bids for ten sewer bonds of the City of Lawrence due 1940s will be received by August 27 1910 with bids for the full series. Ordinance 615 levies taxes to fund city expenses including sewers sidewalks and bridges with specified mill rates and a sinking fund. Ordinance 611 imposes special assessments to fund a lateral sewer in Mississippian addition near University grounds.

Lawrence adopts sewer and switch ordinances in 1910
The city enacts measures authorizing a lateral sewer along blocks in Sinclair's and Babcock's Additions, assigns special assessments to benefited lots, directs certification to Douglas County, and levies charges for 1910. It also grants the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway a seven year right to construct a Vermont Street switch with paving and drainage obligations.

Lawrence ordinance levies sewer assessment on Adams Street
First Published in the Lawrence ordinance No 609 levies a special assessment to pay the cost of constructing a lateral sewer from the Adams Street manhole to a point near Morris Street. The ordinance lists numerous assessed lots and amounts, sets the beginning and lines of the sewer, and states the City Clerk will collect via the County. It takes effect May 1, 1880.
